Southern Interconnect is an electronic manufacturing service company located in Houston, Texas. We provide custom cable assemblies and fully integrated systems manufactured and delivered to our customer’s specifications. We build panels, control boxes and cables from 30 AWG to 4/0. We utilize our expertise in high reliability manufacturing to exceed our customer expectations by continually delivering high quality product on time. Turnkey Manufacturing
By taking advantage of our cumulative purchasing volume and solid supplier relationships, our customers benefit from competitive pricing and the best possible lead times. Our flexible procurement services can begin purchasing components for prototype development and continue through parts procurement for full turnkey manufacturing. Using an advanced Materials Resource Planning (MRP) system, SI coordinates procurement, production and shipping schedules to insure we meet our committed delivery date on every contract we serve.
Industries We Serve
Our customer’s projects include fracking trailers and control panels; artificial lift controllers and motor starters; liquid tight cables and potted connectors for hazardous locations. Our cables are used by customers both off-shore and land based.
We build mil-spec cables for vehicles and weapon systems for both production and test stands.
Our customers include tower lighting cabling, turbine fan control cables, high power mobile electrical generation cabling and obstruction lighting applications. We build stage and emergency power cables and UL certified generator cables. Our cable projects include residential and commercial power delivery and distribution systems for large scale electricity providers. We have provided equipment and cabling to support GPS based survey, dredging and logging equipment.
Customer applications include cabling and control panels for industrial automation; test and inspection equipment; machine cables in both clean and hazardous environments; OEM cables integrated into industrial and commercial products; production material on KANBAN delivery and many more production applications.
Our customers include fleet tracking application cabling and equipment, traffic control systems and system cabling. We provide on board diagnostic (OBD) cabling for fleet tracking and GPS control systems.
Our customers use battery cables, solar panel cables, charge controller cables, inverter cables and fuse cables in lengths from 2 inches to 50 foot and longer. We have completed customer projects including underground and above-ground cabling; Power generation equipment; Solar panels and outdoor Installations; Switchbox, branch, and feeder cable installation.
